Orientation Week Information

The PHEUA's "SURVIVAL OF THE PHE-ITTEST 2010" orientation week activities will run September 6-10 and a schedule of the activities is available on the Orientation Week web site.

All first year students are reminded to attend the following mandatory orientation activities:

Tuesday September 7, 2010
9-11 a.m. Photos
1-3:30 p.m. Equity Workshop


Start of Classes

All academic classes (FPEH and Arts & Science) and PRA/PAC rotations will start during the week of September 13, 2010. Remember to take note of the location of your classes and arrive prepared and on time.


Updated Academic Timetable

An updated version of the Academic Timetable including most class locations & instructors is available on the Academic Courses web page.


Office Hours

The FPEH Undergraduate Program Office will be open extended hours through the month of September: Monday-Friday 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-3:30 p.m.  Starting Oct. 1, 2010 the Undergraduate Program Office will return to regular office hours: Monday-Thursday 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-3:30 p.m.


Health & Dental Plans

All students registered in the FPEH undergraduate program receive health & dental coverage plans through the payment of incidental fees to the student organizations that offer the plans.

Part-time undergraduate students should refer to the APUS web page for details of their coverage under the APUS plan.

Opting Out
If you already have coverage through another comparable plan you are eligible to opt-out of the health portion of the plan. Any student may opt-out of the dental portion of the plan. The deadline for students to opt out is October 8, 2010. For details about opting out procedures visit the applicable link below.

Refund schedules will be mailed to eligible students in March 2011.


TTC Metropasses

The University of Toronto Student's Union offers a discounted Post-Secondary TTC Metropass.  Details about registering for the discount and obtaining the required photo ID is available ont the UTSU web site.


GO Transit Student Identification Cards

GO Transit offers discounts to registered full time FPEH undergraduate students. Application forms for the Go Transit Student Identification Cards are available through the FPEH Undergraduate Program Office starting September 1, 2010. Note: you must have paid or deferred your tuition fees and have registered status 'REG' on ROSI to receive an approved application form. Please bring your T-Card. Part-time students are not eligible for this discount.


Research Course Applications

The course outlines and application forms for the PHE390Y/490Y/491H series of research courses are now available on the Academic Courses web page. The deadline to submit a completed application for the PHE390Y/490Y/491H courses is September 17, 2010.
