Government Financial Aid
The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) provides need-based financial assistance to Ontario residents who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents. Students in course loads of sixty per cent or greater in both terms are considered for both federal and provincial interest-free student loans to assist with educational and living expenses. Bursary for Students with Disabilities
Non-repayable assistance of up to $7000 is available from the federal and provincial governments for OSAP recipients who have special educational expenses as a result of a disability. Contact Admissions and Awards for more information (416-978-2190).
Textbook and Technology Grant
The Ontario government is offering an annual grant to help full-time university students with financial need pay for textbooks and computer costs. To be eligible, you must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada or a protected person. For more details about eligibility and application procedures visit the OSAP web site.
University of Toronto Financial Aid
The University of Toronto is committed to a policy of full access for all qualified students, regardless of financial means. In addition to the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP), the University of Toronto has the best student aid plan in Canada for qualified candidates. University of Toronto Advance Planning for Students (UTAPS)
All full-time students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents and who are assessed by OSAP as requiring maximum assistance and whose assessed need is not fully covered by OSAP will be automatically considered for this non-repayable grant. University of Toronto Work-Study Plan
The Work-Study Program is funded by the University and the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities and provides on-campus, part-time employment to students with financial need. Information and applications are available on the U of T Admissions and Awards web site.

Faculty of Physical Education & Health Bursaries
Students in need of additional financial assistance not covered by OSAP or UTAPS may apply for bursaries through the FPEH Undergraduate Program Office. Bursary application forms can be downloaded from the U of T Admissions and Awards web site and must be submitted by November 1.
