Academic Success Centre

The Academic Success Centre at U of T offers a series of educational lectures & seminars focusing on improving your time management, studying, reading, note taking, test taking, and stress management skills. ASC also offers a resource library and drop in centre staffed by a learning skills counsellor. Details are available at the Academic Success Centre web site.

U Prep 2009
Throughout the summer the Academic Success Centre will be offering a series of mini-courses and talks designed to introduce new students to university expectations and help them improve their academic skills. For more information about these courses visit the U Prep 2009 online brochure.

Health Sciences Writing Centre

The Health Sciences Writing Centre at U of T is available to all registered undergraduate FPEH students. Experienced writing instructors work with students in a forty- five minute, one on one session. Be sure to book appointments early as this service is very popular. Libraries

The University of Toronto has the third largest library collection in North America. The library system carries books, periodicals (newspapers, magazines and academic journals), maps, videos and film, sound recordings, musical scores, images, data files, government publications, microfilms, theses, manuscripts and more. Library Services offers a number of classes and resources to assist students with effective use of library search systems and research. Visit their web site for details.

Accessibility Services

Support services are available for students with a documented disability. The disability can be physical, sensory, learning related, or a mental health disorder. Students with temporary disabilities (e.g. broken arm) are also eligible for the service. Students who qualify for this service are urged to make an appointment with an intake counsellor early in the summer. Details are available on the Accessibility Services web site.
