Age Guidelines
Age guidelines for Camp U of T programs have been set to be appropriate for the developmental stage of the child, the facility in which the program is held and the program goals. Your child’s safety and enjoyment of our programs are of paramount importance to us and we ask that all parents and guardians adhere to these age guidelines.

For programs for 4 and 5 year olds, the child must be the appropriate age by the date of the first class. For programs for ages 6 and over, the participant must be the appropriate age during the program. If your child is too young to participate this year we look forward to seeing him/her in our programs next year!

If you would like to enroll your older child in a program that is set for younger children, please contact us to discuss the specifics.

Allergies and other medical conditions
Allergies - particularly severe allergies to nuts - have become an increasing problem for all programs. Please do not send any snacks containing nut products with your child. Help to keep all kids safe!

If your child has allergies or another medical condition that we should be aware of, please indicate the details when registering. Please speak with the instructor about any conditions that could have an impact on your child's experience.

In the event of an emergency we will make every attempt to contact the parent(s) or guardian(s) listed on the account. Please keep the contact information, home phone, cell phone or work phone current on your Family Account. If you need to update any information call the Main Office at 416-978-3436. Only if we are unable to reach the parents or guardians will we contact the person listed as the Alternate Emergency Contact.

Equipment and Electronics
Please do not bring expensive equipment such as MP3 players or Gameboys to camp. Make sure all clothing and towels are labelled, and we'll do our best to return them to your camper! Cell phones must be turned off and left in bags during 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. To get a message to your child in an emergency please call the camp desk.

English Skills
To make sure your camper is able to fully enjoy Camp U of T, please ensure he or she can speak enough English to understand instructors and other campers.

Lunch
Camp U of T is excited to announce a new partnership with Real Food for Real Kids™ to provide healthy, delicious, made-from-scratch lunches for campers! Real Food for Real Kids™ (RFRK™) prepares delicious meals and snacks, made fresh in the Real Food Kitchen, using only natural ingredients and including as much local and organic food as possible. They aim to help children and their families celebrate real food and instill healthy eating habits that can last a lifetime. The lunch program is available to campers of all ages, and includes a variety of freshly-prepared sandwiches on whole grain breads, served with fresh fruit, delicious all-natural snacks and 100% pure fruit juice. Campers should remember to pack additional snacks and a water bottle each day. Visit www.rfrk.com to find out more!

Lunches must be purchased by the week (daily lunches are no longer available). Lunches must be purchased 14 days prior to the start of camp. Refunds must be requested 14 days prior to the start of camp and will be charged a 10% administrative fee. Lunches are free of peanuts and tree nuts but we cannot accommodate other allergies or dietary restrictions. The lunch program is available to campers of all ages.
