Three Direct Entry Options

 

Bachelor of Kinesiology (BKIN)

  • Four-year honours bachelor degree
  • Common first and second year with multidisciplinary focus
  • Kinesiology specialization starting in the third year including opportunities for professional placements and directed research

  • Recommended for students interested in kinesiology, medicine, rehabilitation sciences, science research, and fitness industry professions 

  

 Bachelor of Physical and Health Education (BPHE)

  • Four-year honours bachelor degree
  • Common first and second year with multidisciplinary focus
  • Physical and health education specialization starting in the third year including opportunities for professional placements and directed research
  • Program of Study and course information is available in the Undergraduate Program Calendar   
  • Recommended for students interested in teaching, public policy, administration, international development through sport, physical cultural studies, and research professions

 

Concurrent Teacher Education Program (CTEP)

  • Five-year program leading to the BPHE and Bachelor of Education degrees
  • Intermediate/Senior level teaching qualification
  • Teaching intensive curriculum with practical field experiences starting in Year II

  • Recommended for students who know they want to be teachers
