Certified Athletic Therapist
Helen graduated from York University with a bachelor of arts degree with specialized honours in kinesiology and a certificate of athletic therapy. Prior to joining the David L. MacIntosh Sport Medicine Clinic, Helen spent four seasons with the Toronto Argonauts Football Club as an assistant athletic therapist.
Helen has participated in on-site coverage for various sports, including national-level soccer, track and field, taekwondo, badminton and tennis. In the spring of 2008, Helen travelled to Nepal to volunteer at a children's orthopaedic hospital. There she learned about many conditions that would never be seen in developed countries like Canada, and had the opportunity to treat some of the most amazing children.
Helen has completed a number of continuing education courses, including mobilizations and myofascial release, muscle energy techniques and craniosacral therapy.
