Sport Massage Therapist
Ed graduated from the Sutherland-Chan School in 1986 and now brings 30 years of clinical experience in sports massage knowledge to his practice. Ed is particularly interested in movement re-education to solve motor impairment syndromes, while incorporating a wide range of manual therapy techniques. Ed has been massage therapist for the National Women's Basketball Team, worked with some of Canada's most accomplished multi-event athletes though Athletics Canada, consulted with the Toronto Raptors Basketball Club, and served on the core medical teams for the Sydney Olympics, Pan Am Games in Guadalahara, and FISA Games in Belgrade. A founding member of the Canadian Sport Massage Therapy Association (CSMTA), Ed chairs the CSMTA Selection Committee. He continues to enjoy the challenges offered by working with the diverse athletes who benefit from the services at the University of Toronto’s MacIntosh Sport Medicine Clinic.
