Faculty + Research Lecture Series + Events

LECTURE SERIES + EVENTS

Our Faculty mission is to “develop, advance and disseminate knowledge about physical activity, health and their interactions through education, research, leadership and the provision of opportunity.”  We deliver this mission, in part, by engaging the community in public discourse about our research.

Our symposia:
The Faculty offers free public speakers’ events aimed at addressing current – and sometimes controversial – topics in sport, physical activity and health. We encourage members of the public, journalists, experts and colleagues to attend and engage in these thought-provoking discussions.

Monday afternoon research series
:
Throughout the academic year, we also welcome students, faculty, staff, fellow researchers and interested members of the public to attend our Monday afternoon research series seminars. These hour-long lectures are held at 4pm in room 307 of the Benson building.

For details about broad, faculty-wide events, see the "What's On" page.
