STUDENT RENTALS
 
 

All recognized U of T student clubs and groups may apply to rent facilities at the Athletic Centre and Varsity Centre. Once approved, these groups receive a 30% off discount on all facility and equipment rentals. In order to qualify for these discounts, all participants of student group rentals must be current students with valid facility memberships and/or fee paying members/ guests.  We also offer FREE student group access times to approved groups (see below).

 

The rental application form must be submitted at least 10 days in advance of the requested rental date in order to be considered.

There are exclusive student rental timeslots at the following locations:

Field house:
Field house courts 2 and 3 are reserved exclusively for recognized U of T student clubs and groups to rent on Mondays and Wednesdays 7 - 9am, Fridays 7 - 8am, and Saturdays and Sundays from 3pm to 5pm. The available times on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday are FREE provided your application request is approved.

Dance studio:

This space is available on Saturday 3- 5pm and Sunday 3 - 5pm. The timeslot is available for FREE provided your application request is approved.

Varsity dome:
One-third of the field in the dome is reserved exclusively for recognized U of T student clubs and groups to rent on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 2:30pm-4:30pm. There is no cost to rent this space provided your application request is approved.

 

You MUST submit an application form at least 10 days in advance in order to use these timeslots.

 

*Rules for access to free timeslots at the Varsity Centre and timeslots at the Athletic Centre:

  • Organizers are expected to arrive no earlier than the designated start time for set-up of their event and must have fully taken down their event and left the space by the designated end time.
  • There must be at least 10 participants.
  • All participants must be U of T student-members or have a valid guest pass.
  • Rental privileges will be revoked if the organizers/participants are caught letting in non-U of T student members or participants without day passes.
  • Only one free rental is allowed at the Varsity Centre per student club/group per term.
  • Only one free rental is allowed at the Athletic Centre per student club/group per term.
